Bri's Loft

My dream of buying an airy loft apartment here in Broughty Ferry with a lovely view of the sea is slim to non-existent...unless I can find a plot of land and self-build, hmm?  But as the search for the perfect pad continues, I will leave you with this to feast on.  This is the home of Bri Emery over at designlovefest - her work & style is enviable and it's lovely to see it being showcased in her home as well.  Bookmark her blog, it's a must!

Paper Delights

Talk about inspiration...while doing some research for my new community project I stumbled across this paper installation by Madrid-based artist Nuria Mora.  This was her piece for Arco 2012 and I am completely blown away.  I love the vibrancy and scale of it...and I happen to be a bit of a magnet for a bit of origami and geometric shapes :) This has given me real food for thought for our 'urban installation' project.  Watch out Dundee, that's all I'm saying!

MSGM

I really love this 2012 pre-fall collection from Italian designer Massimo Giorgetti over at MSGM - textures, print clashes and peplums, what more could I ask for!  So which is your favourite?

Drift Away On Endless Bliss

Between work and recovering from a throat operation, I've been a little short on time and things to say recently... but this lot above pretty much sums up my mood right now... Happy Monday :)

Best Foot Forward...

Shoes shoes shoes, it's all I dreaming about right now and these beauties are all a little out of my reach but most definitely in my eye-line...  I love heels and would pick them over flats most days but the 'mid-heel' is my comfort zone (the morning school run can be problematic in stilettos!) so this is my pick for SS12, ah, I girl can dream right?

Mociun

I have a definite weakness for jewellery. I love simple shapes and ethereal designs, and this collection from Mociun is my latest crush.  The designer Catlin Mociun started the company 5 years ago and produces everything from printed textiles to ceramics and jewellery.  The ring below reminds me of the scene at the end of The Goonies when the lady drops the jewels from the marble bag into Mikey's hand!!  If anyone fancies proposing, this would guarantee a yes ;)  Happy Monday everyone!

I love the double-sided rings...
